The Banana River Square is a nifty little plaza that features several unique little stores, a handful of casual snack spots, and a Publix grocery store. Its location, right in Cocoa Beach, is only minutes from area hotels.

You can’t say you’ve shopped in Cocoa Beach without stopping in at the Ron Jon Surf Shop. Not only is it one of the best surf shops around, but it’s a landmark in Cocoa Beach. With 2 floors of beachwear and surf gear (skateboard gear too) you’re bound to find something to your liking. If you get to only one store in Cocoa Beach, this is the place to go.

Another popular spot with the surf and sun crowd is the Cocoa Beach Surf Company.
The CBSC (as it’s known as locally), like the Ron Jon Surf Shop, features two levels filled with everything you need for fun in the sun from swimsuits to surfing gear (including surfboards and skimboards) and everything in between.

The Cocoa Beach Pier is another fun spot to shop here you’ll find the Tropical Trends Boutique (filled with resort and beach wear) and Oceanotions (where you’ll find t-shirts, trinkets, seashells, and sundries galore).

If you’re need more basic items, like supplies, baby-care items, sun-care products, or simply just food and drinks for the hotel room, you’ll find a Publix grocery store in the Banana River Square (located at 2067 N. Atlantic Ave.), with a Walgreens and a CVS Pharmacy just a few blocks further down the road. All are literally only a minute or two from the areas most popular hotels.
