ABC Commissary Menu

Offering more than your usual fare, the menu includes items such as a Cuban sandwich, fish and chips, a tabbouleh wrap, chicken curry, and cheeseburgers. The service is fairly quick (as counter service at Disney goes), though it is one of the least themed restaurants in the park. Its biggest claim to fame is the TV monitors that line the walls featuring commercials for some of the popular ABC TV shows. Only indoor seating is available.

A small variety of pizzas are served up along with salads. Indoor and outdoor seating is available. Be aware however that the arcade is located just next to the restaurant. If you want to avoid the games, and think it may be difficult to do, you should probably head elsewhere for lunch.

Full Service Restaurants

Consider This:
Almost every one of the Studio's full service restaurants are filled to capacity almost from the minute they open their doors until the minute they close up for the evening. They feature some of the most unique theming found anywhere in Walt Disney World, which also makes them some of the most popular restaurants in the parks. Advanced Dining Reservations are a must if you’re set on eating at any of them (in particular the 50’s Prime Time Café, the Sci-Fi Dinner Theater, and the Hollywood Brown Derby). You may occasionally luck out and be able to get your name on the waiting list (which can often reach to an hour or more) however it’s highly unlikely -- and the larger your party the less likely it becomes. Only once in the many years I’ve attempted it was I ever able to do this - and it was when I was alone.

50’s Prime Time Café

50’s Prime Time Café Menu

Like a visit to Mom’s kitchen back in the 1950s, the Prime Time Café takes you back to a time when Formica counters and chrome accents were in style. The restaurant is comprised of several miniature kitchens, each uniquely decorated, some with shelves lined with knick-knacks, others with curtained windows, still others with their own stove, refrigerator, sink, and counter top upon which sits a black and white TV running reruns of I Love Lucy or The Dick Van Dyke Show and others. Ask to be seated in a “kitchen” near the front or middle of the restaurant where the unique decor is at its best. The very back seating area is bland by comparison, with tables and booths simply set along the length of the room. Don’t be surprised if your waitress (or waiter) scolds you for putting your elbows on the table or for not eating all your veggies - it’s all part of the fun.

The menu is rather varied, featuring familiar favorites like meatloaf, pot roast, and fried chicken, along with pork, seafood, and steak entrées. The drink list is unique, and the desserts (which you can check out on the View Master) aren’t to be passed up, so be sure to save some room. Kids are sure to get a kick out of the glowing ice cubes in their drinks. Only indoor seating is available.

Hollywood & Vine

The buffet changes daily, but you can always expect a variety of entrées that often include steaks, seafood, pasta, vegetables, salads, and more. The atmosphere, a cross between a diner and a cafeteria, is by comparison rather unimaginative, though it’s still quite pleasant. Indoor and outdoor patio seating is available.
The Character breakfast features characters from the popular pre-school favorite Playhouse Disney.

The Hollywood Brown Derby Menu

One of the fancier restaurants in the park, the atmosphere is reminiscent of the clubs popular in Hollywood back in the 1920s and 1930s that were frequented by the stars and starlets of the day. White linens on the tables, large rounded booths, the many sketches of their famous guests lining the walls, and the potted palm trees all help to create an elegant decor. The menu includes the famous Cobb Salad, of course, as well as an array of pork, seafood, chicken, and beef dishes (all prepared with a rather sophisticated flair), among others. The prices are a bit higher than at most other restaurants in the park, but the food and the atmosphere are a few steps above the others as well. All Disney restaurants most certainly welcome children, but if you have preschoolers or younger children, this fabulous restaurant would not likely be your best choice for a meal. Only indoor seating is available.

Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano

Mama Melrose’s Menu

Pastas, pizzas, seafood, and flatbreads served up with a traditional yet upscale flair in this neighborhood eatery. Checkered curtains and exposed brick add to the cozy family-style atmosphere. If your family’s in the mood for Italian, Mama’s makes for a far better choice when compared to some of the counter service spots mentioned above. Only indoor seating is available.

Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant

Sci-Fi Menu

Kids especially get a kick out of this restaurant as you dine in your car while watching sci-fi flicks on the giant screen under the starlit sky. Yes, you’re still indoors, but you feel like you’re out at the drive-in thanks to that Disney magic and imagineering.
The menu is filled with familiar favorites including ribs, chicken, steak, seafood, and sandwiches. Only indoor seating is available.
There are of course plentiful snack spots located throughout the park offering everything from drinks to desserts and more. Some of the more notable include Anaheim Produce which serves an array of fresh fruits and veggies and is located along Sunset Boulevard in the Sunset Ranch Market area, and KRNR The Rock Station which serves frozen lemonade, smoothies, soft serve ice cream, and snacks and is located just outside of the Rock N Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith
