Take a theme park and a working production studio, sprinkle in a little of that famous pixie dust for good measure, and what you get is Disney-Hollywood Studios. Here guests will find many of Disney’s beloved movies and shows come to life whether in the form of a spectacular theatrical production or yet another amazing ride.
As one of Disneys smaller theme parks, the parking lot is not nearly as daunting as some of the others, but if you do find yourself closer to the back end than the front, a tram will be transport you to the front gates. Once youve reached the entrance, and just beyond the turnstiles, youll find the usual guest services, including stroller and wheelchair rentals, lockers, a first-aid station, restrooms, an ATM, pay phones, the babycare center, and the guest relations counter.
Much of the park is dedicated to showcasing the glamour and glitz of show business-both movies and TV. There are really only a few rides--but what rides there are pack quite a punch. A noteworthy feature of this park is the vast array of extremely unique dining options (but be prepared to make Advanced Dining Reservations well in advance for some of the more popular ones or youll miss out). Now, on to the park.
As you enter the front gates, its hard to miss Mickeys gigantic sorcerers hat, gleaming with the sparkling stars that adorn the brilliant blue icon. Not willing to go unnoticed, however, is the ominous Twilight Zone Tower of Terror looming just off to the right.
And so begins your day.
