Tonys is a sit-down restaurant offering a menu with an Italian flair. Themed to Lady and the Tramp, this eatery features wrought-iron accents and a fanciful decor.
Specialties include pizza, pastas, salads and sandwiches at lunch, with an array of traditional Italian favorites at dinner. Located near the parks entrance, this restaurant tends to be a bit quieter during the lunch hour. Dinner however is usually quite busy as many stop on their way out of the park. Advanced Dining Reservation s are highly suggested if you plan on dining here any time after 4:00 p.m.

The Plaza is a sit-down restaurant on the corner of Main Street, offering a menu filled with sandwiches of all sorts, salads, and burgers with a large selection of ice cream, shakes, and floats for dessert. The decor is fanciful and in keeping with Main Streets 1800s theme however is not nearly as enticing for children as it is for adults. As one of Disneys smaller restaurants, it fills up rather quickly at times; Advanced Dining - Reservations may be necessary during peak seasons.
Caseys Corner

$
Specialty: American (No Separate Kids Menu)
Indoor counter service (with limited outdoor patio seating)
Caseys is a counter-service eatery with a baseball motif running throughout. The red-and-white striped decor is reminiscent of an old-fashioned ice cream parlor, though here you will find jumbo hot dogs, fabulous fries, and cold drinks (among a few other items) on the menu. The backroom features a large screen showing short cartoons with bleacher-style seating. Though one of the smaller eateries, it is a popular spot for a snack or a late-night stop on the way out of the park. Its also a really great place to view the nightly fireworks display, especially with its small outdoor seating area facing Cinderella Castle.
Food for Thought
For those of you with children who only eat hot dogs (or at least prefer them above all else) consider getting one (or two) to go. Many times youll find that kids, especially younger ones, are more apt to eat on the go that to sit and savor their meal. Doing this may also save you from the occasional defiance you may encounter at the designated time youve decided to dine.

Espresso, cappuccino, and smoothies (among other refreshments) are available as well. Dont plan on sitting down here however as the available indoor seating is extremely limited (its possible you may get lucky however). Be prepared to head elsewhere (though the two tables just outside the doorway are likely to be occupied as well) or eat on the go. If you do prefer to sit, and there are no seats available, make your way up Main Street (towards Cinderella Castle) and turn right at the corner. Someof the best seats in the park lie just beyond the Plaza Restaurant.

The Tomorrowland Terrace Noodle Station is a counter-service restaurant offering Asian fusion foods from noodle bowls to stir fry to salads. It has a tremendously large (though well-covered) outdoor seating area, great for people-watching while youre eating. Just beyond is a smaller uncovered seating area if you prefer to soak up the Florida sunshine. Because the restaurant is off to the side a bit between Main Street and Tomorrowland, it is often overlooked as guests are making their way to the Tomorrowland attractions, and as such it makes a rather good choice for a less crowded atmosphere. Of course, the sheer number of tables helps too.

The Crystal Palace is by far one of the best character dining experiences in the entire Walt Disney World Resort. It is also one of the most spectacular restaurants in the park, as its name implies. It is beautifully adorned with glass and surrounded by flowers and gardens, looking as if it were transported directly out of the Victorian era. A varied and rather good all-you-can-eat buffet (including a dessert buffet with make-your-own sundaes and cones) is the fare at this restaurant. The menu actually changes rather frequently, but the choices are always numerous and include plenty of kid-friendly favorites. Pooh and his friends come around to each and every table spending a few moments with every child in the restaurant. This one is a family favorite, so I would highly recommend making Advanced Dining Reservations (as I would with any character dining experience in the resort). Just be prepared for the prices to run on the high side (though this is the case for all of the buffets, so the hungrier you are the better).

This ones a family (and personal) favorite in the long list of counter-service eateries. The seating capacity is simply tremendous, but what differentiates this restaurant is the cozier atmosphere created by separating the seating into several smaller rooms. The dark wood and decor (with golden stucco, wrought iron chandeliers, and tile accents running throughout the many rooms) are reminiscent of an old western saloon. If you prefer the sunshine, theres a small outdoor patio as well. The menu features hot dogs and burgers, salads and sandwiches, with a fabulous chicken wrap. Almost everything comes with fries, but you can substitute carrots if you prefer a healthier side, if not simply ask for it à la carte. The kids meals even come with a small bag of character-shaped cookies. Dinner is served family style, with the food placed in the center of the table for all to take what they please) The menu includes all-you-can-eat salad, roast turkey, beef, pork chops, mashed potatoes, vegetables, and macaroni and cheese (with a handful of other choices as well). Consider This:
Almost every one of MGMs full service restaurants are filled to capacity almost from the minute they open their doors until the minute they close up for the evening. They feature some of the most unique theming found anywhere in Walt Disney World, which also makes them some of the most popular restaurants in the parks. Advanced Dining Reservations are a must if youre set on eating at any of them (in particular the 50s Prime Time Café, the Sci-Fi Dinner Theater, and the Hollywood Brown Derby). You may occasionally luck out and be able to get your name on the waiting list (which can often reach to an hour or more) however its highly unlikely -- and the larger your party the less likely it becomes. Only once in the many years Ive attempted it was I ever able to do this -- and it was when I was alone.

Like a visit to Moms kitchen back in the 1950s, the Prime Time Café takes you back to a time when Formica counters and chrome accents were in style. Ask to be seated in a kitchen near the front or middle of the restaurant where the unique decor is at its best. The very back seating area is bland by comparison, with tables and booths simply set along the length of the room. Dont be surprised if your waitress (or waiter) scolds you for putting your elbows on the table or for not eating all your veggies -- its all part of the fun. The menu is rather varied, featuring familiar favorites like meatloaf, pot roast, and fried chicken, along with pork, seafood, and steak entrées. The drink list is unique, and the desserts (which you can check out on the View Master) arent to be passed up, so be sure to save some room. White linens on the tables, large rounded booths, the many sketches of their famous guests lining the walls, and the potted palm trees all help to create an elegant decor. The menu includes the famous Cobb Salad, of course, as well as an array of pork, seafood, chicken, and beef dishes (all prepared with a rather sophisticated flair), among others. The prices are a bit higher than at most other restaurants in the park, but the food and the atmosphere are a few steps above the others as well. Rainforest Café Menu
The minute you enter, youre surrounded by the tropical rainforest that the restaurant is so aptly named for. Lush foliage, vines, trees, and flowering plants climb the walls and the ceilings, while elephants, chimpanzees, and other wildlife can be seen and heard throughout. As much as most kids are entranced by the surroundings, I have to say that some younger ones may find it entirely overstimulating, at times even a bit scary.
The animatronics are relatively realistic and the sound effects can be a bit loud. Combine this with the occasional indoor thunderstorm complete with claps of thunder and flashes of lightning, and it may go either way. Most kids do fare quite well and ask to come back again.
The menu is rather extensive (theres almost too much to choose from), offering an array of choices for kids and adults alike. My only objection is the large gift shop located right out in front with absolutely no way to avoid passing by it. Be aware that this is one of the busiest restaurants anywhere around, and the wait for a table can get rather lengthy. Making Advanced Dining Reservations is highly suggested.
So You Know
If your plans include dining at the Rainforest Café, either for dinner or at any time during the busier seasons, be sure to make advance dining reservations. The park closes between 5:00 and 7:00 p.m., which is just in time for the dinner rush, and it is after all an ideal place to stop for a bite on the way out. Youll be competing not only with everyone in the park headed home for the day and in need of dinner but also with those coming from throughout Disney property who want to experience this unique and stimulating restaurant (this is one of the very few theme park restaurants that you can dine at without having to enter the park itself). Something worth noting for those already at the park - theres an entrance accessible from within the park just before reaching the information and guest services area near the park entrance.
At Camp Mickey and Minnie
No shops or eateries are located at Camp Mickey and Minnie.
On Discovery Island
To the right youll almost immediately come across Safari Coffee. For those starting early in the day, its the place to stop for pastries and a coffee, cappuccino, espresso, or soda pop. The Flame Tree Barbecue, probably the best restaurant in the park, is a bit farther up on the right, located between the island and DinoLand (which also makes it one of the most popular in the park, so beware of lines that can get long at the peak meal times). This outdoor walk-up counterservice eatery features barbecue ribs, chicken, beef, and pork sandwiches along with salads.
Hidden down in and behind the restaurant, just to the left, is a good-sized and very shaded and tiered eating area filled with tables and a gazebo of sorts . Bright oranges and brilliant shades of red immediately catch your eye, while lizards, frogs, and bats are carved into and protruding from this eye-catching and colorful building. Safari Pretzel offers soft pretzels and soda pop.
The Safari Barbecue, about midway through the island, serves up turkey legs, baked chicken wings, and drinks. To the left is Pizzafari, a casual indoor counter-service eatery that serves pizzas, salads, and sandwiches. The exterior is very similar to that of the Flame Tree Barbecue, with colorful animal accents jutting out from the walls. There is plenty of indoor seating with a large covered outdoor seating area set off just to the left of the restaurant as well. Its menu is of course quite popular with kids.
Menus for the Animal Kingdom restaurant can be brought up simply clicking on the name of the restaurants themselves.
In Africa
Midway down the main street in Hamarabe you’ll find The Tusker House, with its thatched roof and worn exterior. There is plenty of indoor seating however it’s the shaded stone patio with a view of the forest located out back that offers the most relaxed setting. It’s much easier to enjoy your meal tucked away from all the crowds. If you prefer to be in the midst of all the action, a large outdoor and covered pavilion is located along the street (just off to the left side of the restaurant). Often times, if you time it just right, you’ll catch a glimpse of the live performances held nearby.
After a recent refit, Tusker House has reopened as a buffet restaurant (rather than the indoor counter service eatery it once was) serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. In addition to the new African marketplace look (and market style buffet featuring an array of meats, veggies and deserts), a character breakfast - Donald's Safari Breakfast is now available in the morning(from 8 am -10:30 am). It replaces Donald's Breakfastosaurus (once located at the Restaurantosaurus in Dinoland). Seating is available, and plentiful, both indoor and out. Tamu Tamu (located just across from Tusker House) features outdoor counterservice (with a menu of burgers, salads, and sandwiches) and plenty of outdoor seating.
Both establishments are appropriate for kids of all ages. If you are simply in search of a snack, the Harambe Fruit Market features fresh fruits and drinks, while the Kusafiri Coffee Shop features pastries.
Dining In Asia
The best place for a snack (or small meal) in Asia is currently the Yak & Yeti Local Foods Cafe. This outdoor walk-up counter service eatery features a limited menu, but the Asian dishes offered are tasty; these include crispy honey chicken, baby back ribs, Asian salads, and pot stickers in a spicy sauce among others. Kids will probably find the chicken bites, mini burgers, and egg rolls more to their liking. To top off your meal (or just to cool off), grab an ice cream or a float at Anandapur Ice Cream (in the wildly decorative and somewhat decrepit bus between the Kali River Rapids entrance and the Flights of Wonder theater).
Yak & Yeti, the park’s newest restaurant features both outdoor counter service and indoor full service dining. Being that it’s operated by Landry's Restaurants (the same company that owns and operates the Rainforest Café as well as several other popular area eateries), it should come as no great surprise that it too features an impressively themed atmosphere (filled with eclectic, ornate, and simply stunning touches) and a menu full of tasty temptations (all with an Asian flair). Both dining experiences, indoor and out, are appropriate with kids along.

Tables are arranged to surround a tremendous circular saltwater aquarium, so the kids can watch as the colorful inhabitants swim by, entertaining them throughout their meal. Be aware that the menu includes a handful of choices that you may very well see swimming before you.
Snack spots include a small number of carefully placed ice cream and drink carts, as well as the Fountain View Espresso and Bakery, where you can grab a quick pick-me-up from specialty coffees to pastries and desserts. The Refreshment Port just beyond the Imagination attractions offers McDonalds items like Chicken McNuggets, fries, and McFlurries.
At the World Showcase
Eleven nations are represented, each showcasing its unique culture through amazing architecture, indigenous landscaping, authentic marketplaces, restaurants, and entertainment. The pavilions are miniature replicas, re-creations of landmark architectures, created with the utmost attention to detail (what else would you expect?), and each one is well worth a closer look to fully appreciate its intricacies. While a majority of the area is dedicated to dining, with each pavilion featuring its own main restaurant (full service), and with some offering quicker counter-service options and snack spots as well, what makes this area so amazing is the feeling it gives you of being completely immersed in the culture of whatever country you happen to be visiting.

The San Angel Inn Menu
The San Angel Inn is off to the back, with patio seating (remember youre still indoors, though it certainly doesnt seem that way) with a backdrop of a river, the El Rio del Tiempo, running behind and a landscape that includes a steaming volcano and flickers of lightning in the far-distant skies. Authentic Mexican (this doesnt mean Tex-Mex) dishes are served, including an array of choices with beef, chicken, and seafood. Kids are of course welcome to order from the main menu, but if those choices are too flavorful or adult in nature, the kids menu includes chicken strips and a cheeseburger, among other items. The reason I recommend it more for an adult crowd is that the atmosphere is rather romantic, the service a bit slower at times, drawing the meal out longer than most young kids could reasonably handle, and honestly, the menu caters to adults even though there are a few kid-friendly choices. If youre in the mood for Mexican and the kids are up for the experience, you would probably be better off at the Cantina de San Angel ($- $$) outside and just across the walkway from the temple. Featured are tacos, nachos, burritos, and a Mexican salad in a small outdoor patio setting, with wrought iron setting it off from the main walkway. They do not offer anything other than Mexican food, so if the kids are looking for something else, keep walking. There are plenty of other great restaurants to choose from.

The center garden is a great spot to stop and enjoy your snack as well -- there are a few benches where you can sit down and watch the comings and goings of those riding the Maelstrom.
